We have had some opportunity to compare her to other babies now that we are getting to know her more and have been out to the doctors and such. Amazingly enough she is, to date, the brightest, cutest and most gifted baby we have seen. Being sensitive to the disappointment other parents must feel as we sit comparing babies we refrain from pointing out the obvious superiority of our seven day old strong beautiful genius, instead we nod knowingly and offer the requisite "how cute". The funny thing is we get the same look from these poor parents sporting their less than perfect babies, it's almost as if they believe their baby is the perfect one as they offer us their greeting "How cute". If I didn't know better..... nah.
Kelly is better each day and fitting in so well as Mom, Taylor is still knacker from the whole birthing experience but she is getting her sleep. We've decided if this is an indication of her future disposition she may not attend M.I.T. as originally planned but may rather get along better on the west coast, we're thinking Berkley if she's going to be this laid-back.
We will keep you posted as to Taylors' remarkable developmental advancements as they take hold.
And now for the pictures!
Kelly you look great. I'm so happy to see that things are falling into place. Keep up the good work. You too daddy. Squeeze Taylor for me.

Good Thing you have a big bed for her. It is amazing that of all the babies born each year, you guys have the only perfect one.!!! It must have been Kelly's influence.
ReplyDeleteLooking good guys. Have Fun !
